Labradorite is reputed to be the magician’s stone and this hand-held size of this piece of Labradorite makes it a perfect reflection stone. The flat front has strong colorful labradorescence and its beautiful yellow, golden, green, and blue colors would make any peacock jealous. Its cool, smooth, polished surfaces just beg to be touched. Place this on a bedroom side table as its beautiful colors lull you to sleep or put it on the kitchen table for an interesting centerpiece.

Mineralogy: Labradorite is in the Plagioclase Feldspar Group comprised of a mixture of sodium and calcium aluminum silicates. The mineral is generally blue and green with iridescent displays of yellows, golds, pastels, blues, and greens, on the surface. The labradorescence (play of color and light exclusive to Labradorite) is especially directional with vibrant changes of color with each rotation.
