Lyropecten nodosa, also known as Lion's Paw shells, are most commonly found to a depth of 100 feet on the surface of the bottom of the ocean, almost always a rocky bottom. These shells are primarily orange with purple and white accents, and can be used for ceremonial purposes or simply as home décor.
