Rock Rascal Model TM Combination Lapidary Machine

The Rock Rascal Model TM is a compact tabletop lapidary unit that will slab, trim, pre-form, shape and polish your cabochons in one square foot of bench space!

Powered by a 1/4 hp Dayton motor, this combination unit has all the features of the Model J 6" trim saw, plus a second arbor for a 6" grinding wheel, polishing head, and wet/dry sanding discs, with a sponge rubber pad for shaping and polishing. All accessories are included, along with a 6" Pro-Slicer diamond blade.

Heavy-duty steel construction with a rustproof powder-coated finish, this unit is mounted on a 12" wide by 14-1/2" deep composite board, and measures just 8-1/2" tall. The efficient belt-driven motor is mounted behind the saw, and protected by a sturdy stainless steel belt guard. Ball-bearing 1/2" arbor gives years of smooth, trouble-free operation and tolerates the high speeds needed to run thinner diamond blades.

The 7-1/4" by 10-3/4" saw table has a drainage groove and adjustable blade guard. The splash protector can be removed for improved trim capabilities on large or irregularly shaped slabs.
