Rough and petalled desert rose gypsum is great for altar use or simply marveling at the creations of nature.

Mineralogical Properties: Desert rose gypsum forms in desert environments where the sand becomes trapped and leads to its distinct petal-shaped formations. It may have a rusty color if iron oxides are present in the environment.
